Wandering Mind Spirits Hibiscus Liqueur is a highly versatile cordial that pays homage to the hibiscus aguas frescas found in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. It deftly melds the tart, cranberry-like flavor of hibiscus with the bright acidity of lime peel and the lingering, warming spices of ginger and cinnamon.

This liqueur is inspired by my trip to Mexico City. While there I was treated to agua de jamaica, or hibiscus tea, for the first time. Tart and extremely refreshing, it was the perfect beverage for a hot day.

This limited edition batch of Wandering Mind Spirits Hibiscus Liqueur has been aged in hand-selected Limousin Rye Whiskey barrels from our friends at Dancing Goat Distillery. This barrel treatment lends the rich vanilla, caramel, and pepper spice of Limousin Rye, while the edition of Peruvian ginger helps amplify the tart, citric base of WMS Hibiscus Liqueur. The result is a lush, warming, and decadent spirit that is truly a unique experience all its own.
