HIBISCUS & SODA

• 2oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur

In a tub or Collins glass, fill with ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a lime wedge.

• 2oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur

In a tub or Collins glass, fill with ice and top with tonic water. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Difficulty:

HIBISCUS MULE

• 2oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• .5oz fresh lime juice

Shake with ice and dump into a tub or copper mug, then top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge and mint. You may also substitute 1oz of WMS Hibiscus Liqueur with 1oz of your favorite spirit; try vodka, tequila, rum or whiskey.

Difficulty:

HIBISCUS OLD FASHIONED

• 1oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1oz bourbon or rye whiskey
• .25oz demerara syrup
• 4 dashes Angostura bitters or Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla bitters

Stir with ice and strain over large ice cubes in a tub or rocks glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.

Difficulty:

HIBISCUS MARGARITA

• 1oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1.5oz tequila
• .75oz fresh lime juice
• .25oz simple syrup

Shake with ice and dump into a tub. Garnish with a lime wedge and salt (optional).

• 1oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1.25oz rye whiskey
• .75oz sweet vermouth

Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.

Difficulty:

SUN & SAND

• 1oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1oz blended Scotch whisky
• 1oz sweet vermouth
• 1oz fresh orange juice

Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.

Difficulty:

HIBISCUS COSMO

• 1oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1.5oz vodka
• .75oz fresh lime juice
• .25oz simple syrup
• 3 dashes orange bitters (optional)

Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Difficulty:

HIBISCUS MOJITO

• 1oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1.5oz white rum
• .25oz simple syrup

Add WMS Hibiscus Liqueur to tin along with 3 lime wedges and 6-8 mint leaves. Muddle, then add white rum and simple syrup. Shake lightly with ice to incorporate and dump into a Collins glass. Top with soda water. Garnish with lime wedge and mint.

Difficulty:

HIBISCUS SOUR

• 2oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• .75oz fresh lemon juice
• .75oz simple syrup
• egg white of small/medium egg

Dry shake (no ice), then shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange and/or a few drops of Angostura bitters (optional). You may also substitute 1oz of WMS Hibiscus Liqueur with 1oz of bourbon or rye whiskey.

OAXACAN SUNSET

• 2oz WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• .5oz fresh lime juice
• .5oz simple syrup

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Discard ice, add 1oz heavy whipping cream to tin. Dry shake (no ice), then slowly pour cream on top of cocktail. Garnish with dried hibiscus (optional).

Difficulty:

AGUA DE JAMAICA (HIBISCUS TEA)

Ingredients:
• 8 cups of water
• 1 cup dried hibiscus
• .5 to 1 cup sugar (depending on your preferred level of sweetness)

Instructions:
• Add hibiscus, sugar and 4 cups of water to medium sauce pan
• Bring to boil and heat until sugar is dissolved
• Allow to cool, then strain into a pitcher and add remaining 4 cups of water

Serve over ice. Garnish with lime wedge and cinnamon stick (optional).

Difficulty:

HABANERO HIBISCUS GLAZE

Ingredients:
• 1cup WMS Hibiscus Liqueur
• 1tbsp olive oil
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1/2 shallot, minced
• 2tbsp honey
• 1 habanero, sliced
• 1/8tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1.) Add olive oil to large sauce pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and saute until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
2.) Add shallot. Saute for 2 minutes.
3.) Add WMS Hibiscus Liqueur. Simmer for 2 minutes.
4.) Add honey, habanero, and cinnamon. Continue to simmer until reduced by one half, about 5 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
5.) Let cool, then carefully strain glaze through a sieve or chinois.

Use this glaze on chicken wings, pork, duck, or tofu. Enjoy!
